WESS+ 친구들
WESS+는 공간의 역할과 가능성을 함께 논의할 ‘친구들’을 초대합니다.
‘WESS+ 친구들’은 “WESS+에서 어떤 프로젝트를 보고 싶은가?”, “이 공간에서 어떤 시도와 대화가 일어나면 유의미할까?”라는 질문을 나누며 WESS+의 대관 프로그램을 함께 꾸려갑니다.
정해진 기준으로 프로젝트를 평가·심사하기보다, 각자의 경험과 관심을 바탕으로 자유롭게 의견을 나누는 역할입니다. 열성적인 관객이자 애정 어린 동료로서 WESS+와 그 안에서 펼쳐질 다양한 시도를 함께 바라보고 지지해 주실 분들을 기다립니다.
누가 — 기획자·작가·연구자 등 미술계 동료, WESS+ 활동에 관심 있는 애호가, WESS+와 새로운 관계를 맺고 싶은 다양한 분 누구나.
무엇을 — 대관 신청 프로젝트를 함께 살펴보며 ① 어떤 점이 흥미로운지 ② WESS+에서 실제로 보고 싶은 프로젝트인지 ③ 공간에서 어떤 가능성을 만들 수 있을지를 중심으로 각자의 의견을 나눕니다.
어떻게 — 정기적으로 공유되는 대관 신청 프로젝트를 온라인 문서 또는 서면으로 함께 살펴보고 의견을 나눕니다. 고정된 심사위원이 아닌 열성적인 관객으로 참여합니다.
다만 — ‘WESS+ 친구들’은 WESS+ 대관을 신청하실 수 없습니다.
활동 기간/방식: 추후 안내(2027년 초 예정)
참여 주기: 대관 접수 주기에 맞춰 유동적

WESS+ Friends
We welcome everyone who can communicate in Korean!
WESS+ invites “Friends” to join us in thinking about the role and possibilities of the space.
WESS+ Friends will help shape WESS+’s space-use programme by sharing thoughts around questions such as: “What kinds of projects would we like to see at WESS+?” and “What kinds of experiments and conversations could become meaningful in this space?”
Rather than evaluating or selecting projects according to predetermined criteria, WESS+ Friends are invited to share their thoughts freely, drawing on their own experiences and interests. We are looking for engaged audiences and supportive peers who will take an active interest in WESS+ and the various experiments that may unfold here.
WHO — Curators, artists, researchers, and other peers in the art field; art enthusiasts interested in WESS+; and anyone who would like to build a new relationship with WESS+.
WHAT — WESS+ Friends will review space-use applications together and share their thoughts, focusing on: ① what they find interesting about a project, ② whether it is something they would genuinely like to see at WESS+, and ③ what possibilities it might open up within the space.
HOW — Projects submitted for space use will be shared regularly and reviewed together through an online document or in writing. Friends participate as engaged audiences rather than as a fixed panel of judges.
PLEASE NOTE — WESS+ Friends are not eligible to apply for space use at WESS+.
Period / Format: To be announced (planned for early 2027)
Participation: Flexible, depending on the space-use application cycle
